Strategically Planning Senior Living

Many clients of Professional Organizers are seniors, or people making an effort to downsize their material footprint. Oftentimes that is in conjunction with ending a chapter of homeownership and creating a new chapter, whether that be purchasing a smaller home or moving to a facility that provides the appropriate care. We want to embolden NAPO Members to engage in helpful conversations around this topic while also providing the confidence to refer their clients to professionals that can bring client goals to reality. 

Nathan Pfitzer of Pfitzer Realty Group will share insights for planning the downsizing and selling of the long-time family home. Jeff Balleau of Transitions for Senior Living will discuss ways his team help seniors identify where their next move should be based on their individual needs.

Our Presenters

Nathan Pfitzer of Pfitzer Realty Group at Keller Williams STL has been a licensed Realtor since 2007 and full time since 2015. Natha's team sells on average between 50-60 homes per year, which consistently rants in the top 2.5% of STL based Realtors. Nathan is accredited SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist) and has been creating a niche within the senior community since 2022.

Jeff Balleau, founder of and Senior Care Advisor at Transitions for Senior Living, has been helping seniors since 2012. Jeff and his wife, Sharon, co-founded Transitions for Senior Living after a frustration experience getting transparent, honest information for his own aging father. As an independent family-owned business, there are no franchise limitations on how they choose to help families. Jeff loves working with client families, helping them understand the best community fit for their loved one. Jeffis a member of the National Placement and Referral Alliance and has trained as a dementia practitioner. 

Together, Nathan and Jeff have been engaging with the community by hosting seminars titles, Strategically Planning Senior Living. Their next seminar is scheduled for Thursday, April 16th at the Cliff Cave Library in Oakville.
