Ethics For Every Organizer

What does it mean to be an ethical organizer? What does ethics have to say about how we treat our clients, our colleagues, and strangers? Is ethics just a matter of opinion? How is ethics different from the law? Can ethics help us serve our clients better?

In this highly interactive teleseminar, we will look at ethics through some real-life client situations and ask, what is the ethical action? We’ll consider how to protect against ethical problems. And we’ll look at three of the codes of ethics that guide most organizers – the codes of ethics for NAPO, ICD, and BCPO.

Our leader for this session is productivity specialist, speaker, and master problem-solver Margaret Lukens MBA CPO. Margaret developed and teaches a teleclass for NAPO, PO-108 “Eliminating Excess” and has been selected to teach the upcoming professional-standards class PO-103 “Business Ethics for Professional Organizers.” She founded New Leaf + Company to work with owners of Very Small Businesses who do not have a business plan.
