"Mindfulness Tools to Help Before & After Assisting Clients"


Let's welcome Stephanie Dickerson, MEd, LPR, CCTP, Licensed Professional Counselor from The Center for Mindfulness & CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy).

About our Speaker:

Stephanie Dickerson is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with a Master's Degree in Education (MEd) in Counseling with an emphasis in marriage and family counseling from the University of Missouri in St. Louis. She received a Bachelor's Degree with a dual major in Psychology/Sociology from Northwest Missouri State University (Maryville, MO). Stephanie values building a trusting, safe and collaborative dynamic in the therapeutic relationship. She utilizes an individualized approach, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness techniques. She also utilizes play and art techniques to support growth and change.

Stephanie has been with the Center for Mindfulness and CBT since 2017. Prior to that, she has had experience working with adolescents and adults in the inpatient and outpatient programs in a hospital setting, she has been a counselor working with adults at a community mental health agency (Comtrea), a school-based counselor at Youth In Need working with children in middle and high schools, and a counselor on staff at two school districts in the St. Louis area working with elementary-aged children as well as middle and high school children as needed. Stephanie specializes in the treatment of children, adolescents, and adults experiencing Anxiety, Depression, OCD, ADHD, Autism, and she is a certified clinical trauma professional (CCTP). She is passionate about supporting those building self-esteem and self-compassion.

Chapter Members do not need to register for this meeting.  Guests can register for $20 on our website.

REMEMBER - Please sign in at the membership table when you first arrive.

Veteran members - don't forget to bring your name tag.  If this is your first in-person meeting, we will create a name tag for you.
