Anxiety - Fact or Fiction?

We feel it everywhere - increased stress and anxiety at home, at work - where for many of us are integrated more than we like these days. Anxiety is on the rise as more and more people struggle with how to handle the unpredictability of this season in life and changes that are beyond our control. 

This presentation shares general information about anxiety as well as coping skills we can use ourselves or use to help loved ones who are struggling with anxiety and/or stress at home, work, or in the community.

Speaker Bio - Angela Berra, LMSW, MA
Director of Programs, NAMI St. Louis 

Angela graduated with her BA in Psychology from St. Mary’s College-Notre Dame.  She earned her Master of Social degree from St. Louis University in 2016 and became a Licensed Master Social Worker.  She also earned her MA in Nonprofit Administration from Lindenwood University in 2017.

Angela has worked in the St. Louis area serving individuals and family members with mental health conditions for over 10 years. She began working as the Director of Programs at NAMI St. Louis in 2019.

• 11:40am - 11:50am   Announcements and Wrap Up
• 11:50am - 12:20pm   (Optional) Q&A Session for New Organizers

Since our meeting is being held on Zoom, for safety and privacy we will send out the specific link to join our meeting the day before our meeting, on Sunday, February 7th. 

Registered guests for the meeting will also receive a Zoom link via their e-mail address on Sunday.

The only people who need to RSVP for this meeting are guests, who will pay the $20 guest fee.

Chapter members can choose to attend or not attend, no RSVP required.
