Chapter Google Groups

The NAPO St. Louis Google Group gives members the opportunity to ask questions of their peers, compare notes and share resources.

Chapter website

The NAPO St. Louis website gives the public easy access to NAPO members and helps them understand why hiring a NAPO organizer is a good idea. NAPO St. Louis members are included in the (find an organizer) searchable directory.

Membership directory

The chapter membership directory gives you easy access to other organizers for referrals or to seek out advice or collaboration. The members’ version of the directory contains more detailed contact information than the public portion of the website.

“Organized Times” Newsletter

The chapter newsletter is an excellent resource for NAPO St. Louis members. In every issue, you will learn trade secrets on how to build your business and it will keep you current on the latest training and education opportunities. The publication features one member per issue, a calendar of events, meeting news (in case you miss one) and much more. View the latest issue of our newsletter.

Education

The bimonthly programs offer opportunities to learn about local resources, as well as organizing programs or methods you might not be aware of. Programs are designed with members’ interests in mind. A list of members’ favorite books, CDs and other learning resources provides a great starting point for organizers to continue their education. The NAPO St. Louis lending library allows members to borrow CDs from past NAPO conferences, as well as other CDs, DVDs and books on organizing.

Social Events

On the months NAPO Members don’t meet, members get together for a night of fun at one member’s home. Everyone pitches in and brings a snack or drink and for a few hours NAPO members just enjoy each others company and laughter.

Personal and professional support

NAPO members are highly supportive of their fellow members. By joining NAPO St. Louis you will have access to other organizers, in a non-competitive atmosphere, from whom you might gain help, support, referrals, or collaboration.

Increased credibility and visibility

As NAPO membership skyrockets, its position as The Organizing Authority solidifies. As a NAPO St. Louis member, your local visibility as a NAPO member is magnified. When the chapter organizes an activity for the public as part of NAPO’s Get Organized Month, there will be great opportunity for media attention for the local organizing community. The bimonthly programs enhance your knowledge of local organizing-related resources making you an even better resource for your clients.

Leadership opportunities

As a new chapter, NAPO St. Louis is always seeking volunteers for its varied activities. This could be your chance to rise to a leadership position of this prestigious organization.

Get Organized Month

As a member you will be able to participate in promotional activities, like Get Organized Month. It’s meant to raise awareness of the organization and the professional organizing industry.
