An Introduction to Project Management:

Why Do We Care?

 

Twenty percent of the Certified Professional Organizers exam is on project management – clearly an understanding of project management is important to professional organizers. What does project management mean? Who is involved in a project? Why is project management important? Dick Navarro will answer these questions and introduce the basic concepts behind project management.

Dick Navarro is a Founders’ Professor at the University of Missouri – Saint Louis College of Business Administration. He is the retired Director and Chief Business Systems Architect, the Boeing Company. He has a B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering, a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, a M.S. in Computer Sciences, a M.B.A., and a P.D. in Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering.
